With over 20 years of production experience, Sandy brings a wealth of expertise to her role as vice president and leader of event management and operations at P.W. Feats. The events team is comprised of leading-edge professionals in the fields of event design, production and management; trade show management; multimedia production; theatrical design and directing; choreography; entertainment management; technical production and logistical management. With a specialty in multi-faceted mega productions, Sandy has served as executive producer for a revolutionary foodshow experience in Las Vegas, developed the event strategy for a world-class steeplechase event for 10,000, and managed all logistical issues relating to the Susan G. Komen race for 20,000+ runners. Through the years, she has worked with an A-list of clients including the United States Olympic Committee, U.S. Foodservice, Verizon Wireless, Johns Hopkins Institutions, Wall Street Journal Online, Binney & Smith/Crayola, Black & Decker and KPSS. In addition to being a valuable resource to the event community and a frequent speaker at colleges and national professional association meetings, Sandy’s work has won multiple awards including two first place PRSA awards, one Silver Anvil and one gold CASE award. She has been honored as one of Maryland’s Top 100 women and was named Hospitality Professional of the Year by the Academy of Hospitality and Tourism. Sandy has served as a board or committee member for many civic and non-profit organizations, including the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Roads to Recovery, Hannah More, Epilepsy Association of Maryland, Meals on Wheels. Additionally, she has chaired several fundraising galas.
