The grand opening celebration of the Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History & Culture resulted in more than 125 nation-wide media hits and a sold-out ticket weekend. A full week of press and donor preview events created a buzz for the inagural weekend when a public ceremony launched the museum and two days of street festival entertainment.
