P.W. Feats is Proud to be One of the Best Places to Work

BALTIMORE, MD (July 2, 2007) P.W. Feats was named one of the Best Places to Work by Baltimore Magazine. After an exhaustive survey of employers in the region, Baltimore Magazine recognized P.W. Feats for its leadership.

The magazine highlighted P.W. Feats’ culture. “Like every business, our culture shapes us,” said Feats CEO Paul Wolman. “We've been proud of ours for many years. It has helped us attract and keep motivated some of the hardest working, most caring, most creative people in the business.”

“Likewise,” noted Wolman, “our culture has attracted a group of distinguished clients that we are proud to serve.” Wolman continued: “The Baltimore Magazine article mentions that “joy” is one of our core values. It is indeed a joy to help our clients connect and communicate with their stakeholders in a way that can create long-lasting bonds and drive change.”

Underscoring the integral connection between the firm’s relationships with a growing group of dynamic clients and being one of the Best Places to Work, Wolman said, “We work with world-class clients; they are an inspiration to us every day, and we are truly proud to serve them.” He added, “Indeed, Best Places can refer to a virtual location, as well as a literal one. We help organizations communicate through live experiences. So the ‘place’ we work is often our clients’ place or their venue.”

P.W. Feats CEO & Education Activist Recognized as Change Agent

BALTIMORE, MD (March 15, 2007) Despite the lessons that corporate America could teach students, schools and business rarely mix. So it’s a happy anomaly when a local industry leader takes an interest in championing students’ career development. From early on, P.W. Feats CEO Paul Wolman has made it his mission to give back by serving on boards and through hands-on activities that benefit the community.

Wolman was selected for the 2007 Career and Technology Education (CTE) Outstanding Secondary Change Agent Award of Excellence through his work with the National Academy Foundation School (NAF). The Maryland State Department annually honors a person who has made a difference in CTE programs with this award.

NAF immerses students in career training while they attend high school by allowing them access to training and education in their chosen industry. The programs spark and maintain interest from the school board, legislators, corporate partners, parents, teachers and students in an urban public school system in desperate need of success models.

Under Wolman’s leadership as a Co-Chair of the NAF Board, P.W. Feats has created and produced an annual award ceremony that raises awareness of the school’s students and services, as well as raises funds for its operations. This year’s celebration marked over $700,000 raised to date. Wolman helped secure NAF a new home in 2004, growing the model school to become the first NAF program in the country integrating Finance, IT and Hospitality Programs under one roof. He helped assemble a leadership board that significantly raised its overall fundraising while focusing on raising educational standards.

P.W. Feats focuses on programs like the National Academy Foundation model for engaging average city school students to not only keep them in school but prepare them for their choice of college or career-based growth paths. For over 21 years, P.W. Feats has found ways to combine the power of events with making a difference.
